What can Virtual Production bring to the table for Producers?
This course will cover the basics of VP, what it is and how it works. An explanation of the Virtual Art Department (VAD) – who, what and how the On-Set VP (OSVP) works. You’ll also learn Virtual Production workflows from a Producer’s point of view, including creative & on-set pitfalls to be aware of. As well, you will see an example schedule of ”on-set week”, including activities & crewing and costs v savings compared to traditional production. You will also come to understand the current problems facing the industry, what tools are available to tackle climate change and industry resources to supports sustainability within Virtual Production.
